Awoke to cloudy skies....Weatherman says it could rain and thundershower today but we are going to take our chances and go on a hike down to the bottom of the Grand Canyon on Pennsylvania.
The hike is basically only 1 1/2 miles down but it's 1 1/2 miles straight back up and it's steep. It's called the Turkey Trail?....not sure what they are referring to there?

The bugs are not bad....as long as you don't stop! Not even for a pic.
After a wrong turn on a "not so well marked trail" we made it. It was a nice hike....the scenery from this side was a bit treed in but we did see boaters and hikers on the other side...
Time to go back up. Gracie was amazing...I had thought for her being 12 years old this may be too much for her. Her tail was up and she was smiling the whole way...even going back up!
There are a few lookouts on the way out of the park which show a great view of the canyon.
Took Gracie back to the RV as we were going into town to our favourite place..The Rooste.
A Grad Picture taking event in the park...No...we know no-one...kinda fun walking around looking at all these excited Grads...and we didn't have to talk to anyone.....just people-watched.
This is the first time this trip we actually had an "appie" before dinner...spent so long looking at the great drink menu...had a drink....appie....shared two meals....another drink....it's just an awesome place...Wish Vernon had a place that "felt" like this...
Even after all that...we weren't here late enough to really see all the Gas Lanterns in town...
But we did see more fireflies back at camp...and it was awesome!
Goodnight from the rolling hills of Pennsylvania...
