We are really nice to be staying in a place that is in a great location, only a few miles from the things we are wanting to do here and under $20 a night....but it probably takes us 1/2 hour to get out of this darn Resort!!! Not because it's so big...(which it is big...there must be about 1500 modular/rv sites) and so big that they want you to ride your bikes/golf carts with the traffic.....but so many one-way streets and so many dead-end streets and an equal amount of rules and signs and no dog here-no dog there-don't do this...don't do that....it's mind boggling....

While George and Joe went out to try to replace our RV Antenna that blew off the trailer a few weeks ago...I went for a little ride around the site...in search of this really cool tree that I knew T would love to paint one day....Start painting T...there are more to come...

Today we booked a  2 1/2 hour sailboat with Magic Wind
someone I found on Trip Advisor which we use often....no this is not boat...

This is the sailboat...and Dan and Dianne were our trusted sailors for the day...and they were awesome.  They only take 6 passengers...and we were so lucky to have a private sail today...

We weren't out very long before we saw the first dolphin a ways behind the boat...hope to see more a bit closer...

It was my idea to go sailing....
but not really my idea to stand at the front of the boat for a picture...
wee bit terrified....no sea legs for me!!!

And....I made it!!! briefly...then back down on my butt for the rest of the sail...

We did see dolphins again....one so close it went right under the front of the sailboat....exactly where I was sitting at the time...so cool. And then shortly after we saw a pod of them....off the front of the sailboat again...feeling lucky...

An amazing day for a sail......

Seeing as we still had lots of time left before our "Gracie Curfew"....we decided to walk around Ft. Meyers Beach area for a while..

...easy to tell what we have been wearing on our feet the past few weeks...

????? really??? who does this???

We heard from our waitress the other night that this is "Ft. Meyer's Party Place"....just by looking at it you can tell it's set up to party!!! Spring Break here is a "gong show" apparently!!!

It is pretty neat looking...each floor is painted differently!

Finished off eating dinner at this place...we had eaten here in 2013 and the menu had 400 items!!!! Yes 400!!!! since then new owners have taken over....shaved it down to 200 items....and from what Dan and Dianne said the food is still great! and it didn't disappoint!!

  1. Hey Linda... your middle names wouldn't happen to be "Chicken Shit" by any chance would they?? At least you weren't wearing a life jacket this time, but maybe one should have?? It's going up to 26C this weekend and snow melt is causing all kinds of problems.
Gas is $1.62 a litre in Vancouver, highest price ever in North America. $1.45 in Vernon, oil going up and up. Do you want me to put George's licence in a bottle and put it in the North Thompson river and let it make its way down there? Maybe find it on your next sailboat ride?? Ha, ha.
