Moving day again....reluctantly leaving St. Augustine....but we must move one...
Not going far today, another couple of hours...
More waterways....
more bridges....
We left Florida today.....I felt a sense of sadness when I saw the "Thank you for Visiting Florida" sign....but looking forward to Georgia...
The weather is about to turn so thought we better get out to the beach one more time before the rain comes so off to Jekyll Island we go. We are now in the Golden Isles.....
Then off to Driftwood Beach...this ones for you T...
Constant erosion has created a surreal landscape of bleached and preserved fallen trees.
Off to Jekyll Island Club Resort
It's hard to keep track of which towns are dog friendly and which ones are not around here...one will have zero tolerance for pets and the next will welcome them in the restaurants....not just on the patios...but actually inside!! .....crazy
This area is covered in these big ol' oak trees....they are so large...the branches reach so far, they drop and touch the ground and keep growing...
And true to the area and the inter-coastal waterways....there is always something going on ...this is a car carrier that looks so out of place here because you can't really see the waterway...it just looks like marshland....then this giant ship!
