This is our last day at this campsite...then further south we go.  But today...we must see the beach...

The traffic....once again is bad going over to Anna Maria Island...and we figured it out...draw bridge...this guy was coming....




These guys found a vacant spot to hang out...


We parked on the causeway going over to Anna Maria Island...we heard the traffic was crazy and we really just needed to get out on our bikes.....the first beach we stopped at was.....crazy crazy busy....too busy for me...as far as they eye could see...


Another maybe 15 minutes on our bikes...and we reached the calmer part of the Island...still more inter-coastal waterways...they are like side streets here...




Then at the end of the Island...where the parking is limited...which means way less people....we reached it again...We were lucky to see more dolphins!!! I could watch them forever!!!




Then these birds....we happened upon this large gathering of birds...I think it's their mating season....


First they meet....
then they dance....

Then they walk away together....
then stuff went down that I chose not to record!!!

We could just walk these beaches for hours...but Gracie is waiting...

And we had a little visitor on our bikes when we got back!

The houses here are a mixture of large and small....


And the smells...oh the smells...if I closed my eyes....I might think I was in Hawaii...the sweet smells of the ocean...and of the flowers......

And with all this water...
we happened upon a Sales Marina....for some really expensive yachts...




Back on the bikes...haven't been riding as much as we would like...but a good day...followed by another swim in the pool...all to ourselves....

About a 3 hour drive today....which means 4 or 5 hours pulling the RV and stopping along the way. It rained quite a bit today on the drive....makes it less likely to get out and check out a town when it's like that....but we did finally find George a place to have breakfast...Third times the charm. Good food...super cheap....not sure why because we are basically out in the middle of nowhere. The weather forecast for today....rain...rain...and more rain.  We knew that a few days ago but were hoping that was going to change...no.  Went for a walk on the beach before the rains start....have I said before I love the Florida beaches???  love love love....breezy but still nice.. I think one of my favourite things to see is the sea grass and flowers against the white sand... Found a campsite for 2 nights in Navarre Florida, about 20 miles West from here. Off we go again...hope it's nice. By the time we arrived, the weather had started to change...think we are in for a storm.  Day for chores and errands and a Flea Market...or should I say junk sale. Tornado warning!!!  Yes Tornado warning....20 km East of here.... Which is about where we were this morning.........  Thankful they didn't have a campsite for us or we would have been there...
