Staying in Palmetto for 4 whole nights....nice after moving every few days...
The weather has been great...no wind...low humidity....sunshine....
Today is another one of those "errand days" so both trucks need to go in for some "babying"...we've put a few miles on the trucks so it's a must. Gracie is with us...bit of a challenge as these Florida beaches are not really as Fido Friendly as we would like.
Then onto a non Fido Beach...lucky for some shade...Gracie sleeping in the truck.. we were able to enjoy the blue-green waters of the Gulf of Mexico....never get tired of seeing this...
On the coast of Sarasota there is Longboat Key....beautiful homes....narrow in parts as you can see the waters of the Gulf of Mexico to the West and the waters of Sarasota Bay on the East and then random water-ways in between....oh the life of the lucky people of Florida...
Stopped for lunch at the first restaurant we saw (that never happens...) in St. Armands Circle...Margaritas to die for...and great food and Gracie could enjoy it with us.
Gracie loves to shop....she will try to walk into every single store...several were dog friendly...you can usually tell by the water bowls out front...which she will not drink out of ....no matter how thirsty she is...
It's a pretty ritzy place here....lots of expensive cars....ladies and gents all dressed in their finest beach wear....strolling along with their gift bags....apparently Gracie has a taste for fine art!
