Reluctantly moving on...managed to get ourselves 2 nights at St. George Island State Park, about 4 or so hours away.

I love these big area markers...that is exactly what the beaches look like...

Joe happened about an area yesterday that we wanted to stop at.  Luckily found a place to park the RV's...not always an easy task, but we were lucky today.

Really cool place with stores/restaurants along the way...boats everywhere...lots to see.

This is an enormous mound of sand...our waitress said they are re-building the
area back up again with a park and biking/walking trails... it will be so nice when it's done.

They are super dog-friendly here...dogs can go in all the restaurants and they even leave bowls of treats!!! Dog Heaven!

Drove through Panama City Beach...really really touristy...nice...but pretty busy.  You could rent scooters for $2.00 an hour??? How can they make money on that one??

We saw many of these little things driving around...

There were water parks amusement park stuff everywhere...little too much for us.

I just love their advertising!!!

and another crazy bridge...

and Gracie...finding a new way to sleep...

and then a series of really long bridges....the longest one being 4 miles!! Man they know how to make bridges down here! There are signs on the bridge to watch for birds...there are so many and they are just flying right along side of you and I guess with the distance....many fly into traffic.. we saw quite a few dead ones on the way...

We arrived at St. George State Park in time to enjoy some sunshine...

T....here is a tree for you to paint....
