Awoke to sunny skies outside of Marfa, Texas. About 5 of us RV spent the night.

Had to travel from Bunny Massacre through Deer/skunk/Bunny/porcupine Massacre.......we have seen more roadkill than alive animals.....so sad...

More Texas desert....stopped in Alpine for breakfast.  This is another Historic Town dating back to 1883.  Amazing fact about the area is the Southern Pacific Railway.  One segment was built Eastward from El Paso and reached Alpine in April 1882 (about 220 miles), while the other segment was built Westward from San Antonio and was finished in 1883 (about 350 miles)!!

Learned something else today about the Border Patrol....we figured it out that these roads alongside the highway are actually just for Border Patrol.......and we figured out why there are randomly 3 tires changed together....alongside the roadway...

They drag them behind the Border Patrol vehicles to remove any previous tire tracks/footprints so that they can get clean tracks...It's like Man Tracker!!!

And finally after what seems like forever driving through the desert....water...OMG!!! Gracie has been waiting for this for FOREVER!!
