Another cloudy morning but again they said it would clear...and it did.

Off to the Mission San Jose just down the street from our RV Park. This Mission was founded in 1720...crazy old.

What's really nice about San Antonio is that so many of the Historic Sites are so close together and really close to the RiverWalk....love it.

In certain areas on the RiverWalk outside of town there are signs everywhere that say "If water on path do not enter"...and it seems crazy that the water could rise that high but when you look you can see the remnants of last years runoff high up in the trees and shrubs.

This afternoon we decided to take the city bus into downtown to check out the part of the RiverWalk lined with restaurants and shops....been way too many years since either of us had taken a bus!!

There was lots going on at the RiverWalk on a Friday Night!!!

.....and no city is complete without a Love Lock Bridge....nothing quite says commitment like taking a lock to a bridge, locking it  and tossing the key.......This Paris Tradition has travelled to San Antonio....

Always something new around the next corner...

The pigeons and house-sparrows are everywhere here, I guess all the patio seating at the restaurants doesn`t help any.  We had dinner at a Mexican Restaurant and the house-sparrows were stealing and flying away with whole nacho chips!!! entire chips!!!

We ended the evening with a Good Ol`Texas STORM!!!!  OMG!!!
The thunder and lightening and HAIL lasted a good 2 hours!!!
Gracie doesn`t mind storms but the HAIL on the roof the an RV sounds like millions of gunshots!!! She was not impressed!!! and neither was I...I was waiting for hail to come through the skylights!!!
