Another beautiful sunny day....windy at times...but not too bad.

We have noticed in the last few stops....the stereotypical "Overweight American", and it doesn't stop at the adults....it's the children and also dogs!!!  But this ol' guy has this figured out! He looks like he was about 80 or so....so not very able-bodied...but he passed by us several times....running his dog...

So we are heading to San Antonio and Brother Joe is heading to Corpus Christie....then we will meet again in 2 or 3 nights.

Wasn't long before we left the desert and scrub behind (as interesting and beautiful as it was) we were happy to see some green....more small town charm....and finally wildlife....and they were ALIVE!!! Finally!!!

Oh, I was so happy to see them alive!!! Check out those SPOTS!!!

And just in case you ever considered picking up a hitchhiker in these parts of Texas...Think again!!

San Antonio...Here We Come!!!  We had hoped to visit back in 2013 when we were down in this neck of the woods....but things just didn't work out....So we are so happy that the weather is good and it looks like we can explore this amazing city!

But before that...we must manage getting into the City.  We headed into town mid-day....so that helped...and it helped that the RV Park is very central to the sights we want to see here in San Antonio....and I am lucky George is such a calm and awesome driver...so it was a pretty easy trip into the city.....I still closed my eyes a few times!!

And in case you can't afford to `buy` your tires....you can RENT them! Yes....Rent Them!!!

Found our RV park....it is Gorgeous!!! We even saw a guy blowing the leaves off the roadway!!! Hard to believe that we are 3 miles from Downtown....on the bikepath to the RiverWalk....

Photobomber!!!
But one of the Nicest Dog Parks we have ever seen!!

Today was a relax day...tomorrow we will finally get on our bikes and explore this amazing City!!
