27 sleeps till we leave....and what we have is SNOW...SNOW...and MORE SNOW and COLD COLD Weather.

We have a driver's test booked 20 days from now!!! We need to get this snow OFF the ROOF of this Trailer!!


So on a beautiful sunny Saturday, with the help of our good buddy Cal, we managed to get most of the snow off the roof of the Trailer, covered the worst part with a black tarp and turned up the furnace, and we have Melt Down!!! Slow and steady but I think we can do this!!


I did the first shift on the ladder...only covering George once with snow (ba-ha-ha) then passed it off to Cal and I decided it was about time for some fun in the snow!!!

He has no mouth because I do not want to hear him scream when he melts.....because I am a hoping and a praying for some "snow melting weather"...PLEASE MR. SUNSHINE!!! MELT THIS SNOW!!! FAST!!!

About a 3 hour drive today....which means 4 or 5 hours pulling the RV and stopping along the way. It rained quite a bit today on the drive....makes it less likely to get out and check out a town when it's like that....but we did finally find George a place to have breakfast...Third times the charm. The weather forecast for today....rain...rain...and more rain.  We knew that a few days ago but were hoping that was going to change...no.  Went for a walk on the beach before the rains start....have I said before I love the Florida beaches???  love love love....breezy but still nice.. I think one of my favourite things to see is the sea grass and flowers against the white sand... Found a campsite for 2 nights in Navarre Florida, about 20 miles West from here. Off we go again...hope it's nice. By the time we arrived, the weather had started to change...think we are in for a storm.  Day for chores and errands and a Flea Market...or should I say junk sale.
