So Joe going one way...we are going another and will meet up a few days down the road. Heading North!!!! but not North towards home!!! No No No...heading North towards Sedona, Arizona. The landscape is always changing....some may say it's boring...we love it... The Fox got a bath and a wax to try to protect it from the intense heat here....no...we did not do it Cal...a nice well paid guy did it!! I love the bark on these trees.....the leaves are green but the bark is also so green! Drove through Quartzsite...not sure it's our thing...There were several "lots" like this along the way....most of them empty now that it is "heating up" there... The landscape slowly changes....keeping it an interesting drive along the way... The amazing thing is the "attention to detail" on the roadways...miles and miles and miles and miles of concrete/brick borders along the freeways...makes it very interesting! We dro...

Lazy morning...clear blue skies and yes....warm!! Took a drive to Joshua Tree National Park....and yes...those are Joshua trees...and piles of rocks that looked like someone stacked them to use later for something... George, Tom, Gracie and I drove the truck and Brother  Joe followed on his Harley.. It's a nice scenic drive which takes you out to a viewpoint overlooking Palm Springs and area. Gracie!!! Look at the Camera!!! And of course the best end to every day on holidays....beer and pub food!! ...and a beautiful cool last evening with Brother Tom before he heads home to Hollywood and we head up to Sedona.  The days are "hot" but the nights are cool.  We have not used air conditioning at night yet.

Well it's hot out here!!! and we love it. Clear blue skies again. Drove into Borrego Springs, which was really in the middle of no where.  Miles and miles of desert and then you see the strip of green and you know you have arrived. Very quaint. It was a small town...a scattering of things around this green circle in town. Stopped for some awesome pizza and cold beer before we scouted around.  This birdie was loving the fountain!!! and this guy was really checking Gracie out!! That dog never took his eye off Gracie the entire time we were there.... The most amazing part of this town is the metal sculptures.  We only saw a fraction of them, but there are 130 in all, really quite crazy. They are placed all over the town.   Borrego California   Back on the road to the Salton Sea.  From the highway, it looks like miles and miles of white sand beach...as far as the eye can see.... B...

Our first relaxing....stay in bed late....relax.....and relax again day.  Feels a little strange, but enjoying it for sure. Love looking out the RV window and seeing and smelling the Oranges!! Awoke to sunny clear skies...warm....flip-flop kinda weather.  Slowly made our way up the pool area...now that was a busy busy place.  There was pool vollyball and water arobics going on...none of which we did. We figured the first thing to do was get rid of some of this "pale winter skin" we have been carrying around. Not too much sun though, it feels pretty intense. This resort is immaculate!!! All the park model homes here are so tastefully designed and decorated.  There is a really small golf course that winds it way through the resort. Somebody may have a problem when they pull that slide in??? and a lemon tree...so wish it was in our spot, would have loved fresh lemons... Gracie so wanted to go in this fish pond!!! It was killing her!!! There ...
